Established local business looking for a cashier/clerk to help maintain a clean, customer friendly environment, perform cashier duties, stock merchandise, and perform all other tasks associated with the business. Looking for someone responsible and reliable that wants to work up to a full-time position in a great working environment.

Part-time days: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday

Operate a cash register for customer transactions

Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with inquiries and locating products

Stock shelves, displays, & coolers with products, ensuring products are properly displayed and organized

Assist at deli-counter making select food products for customers

Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness of the store, including restrooms and common areas

Monitor inventory levels and notify management of low stock or product shortages

Team-player with a great attitude

Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

Holds a current Food Handler's card or is able to obtain one

Holds a current tobacco and alcohol server permit or is able to obtain one

High school diploma or equivalent

Previous experience in retail or customer service preferred

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to handle cash transactions accurately- knowledge of basic math and computer skills
