Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Cabinet Installer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation of cabinets and other related products in residential and commercial settings. This role requires precision, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Work area is typically Summit and Wasatch Counties, but occasionally elsewhere.

Responsibilities

  • Install custom and pre-fabricated cabinets in kitchens, bathrooms, offices, and other areas according to project specifications.
  • Ensure all installations are completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Measure and modify existing cabinetry to fit new appliances or spaces.
  • Work with other team members to complete installations on time and within budget.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to ensure their satisfaction with the installation process.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and materials in good working condition.
  • Follow company policies, safety procedures, and guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Cabinet Installer or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of woodworking and cabinetry installation techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and installation instructions.
  • Proficient in using hand and power tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various positions, including standing, bending, and kneeling.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Willing to train the right person.

Additional Information

Not interested in hiring subcontracted installers. This is a full-time in-house position paid hourly.
