Job Description

This is a unique part-time job averaging 20 hours weekly, always between the hours of 7:00 AM- 2:00 PM, typically 3-5 days per week always between Monday & Friday.

Be Advised: The internship begins with 30/days orientation & training at $20 hourly learning the basic routines while demonstrating reliability and punctuality before advancing to the higher wage.

Following 30/days orientation & basic training this could remain a simple part time job at $25/hourly indefinitely or otherwise the sky is the limit for someone seeking to advance towards a full-time position within a fascinating and rewarding industry.

JOB DETAILS INCLUDE: Working side by side with the owner and crew of a small HVAC company with firm protocols & procedures. Organizational skills and listening skills will be important. You'd be assisting to install heating & cooling systems inside occupied residential buildings.

The stage-1 apprentice would begin with Vehicular, Shop & Yard Inventory Work, including gaining familiarity with tools, materials and equipment. The entry level job duties would include a majority regimen stocking, cleaning trucks, shop/yard clean-up with warehousing tasks and while staging weekly jobs with materials, tools and equipment, and while learning to perform skilled tasks including plumbing, electrical and sheet-metal skills.

It's important to understand that this job requires typically (4-5 hours continuous physical activity), hiking up and down stairs, climbing in attics and crawl spaces, occasionally dirty and filthy conditions. The entry level apprentice needs to be reasonably agile and in good physical condition. Some repetitive heavy lifting involved

Good listening skills would be a must, with good organizational skills and good people skills a plus.

This is a fast-paced, roaming & versatile job, never working in one place too long, (typical 2 or 3 day events on unique projects), before moving to the next destination, always something new and varied working with your hands, mind and creative elements in migratory fashion…

Qualifications

The person applying for this job should be in good physical shape, able to lift minimum 50/pound boxes and agile enough to climb ladders and stairs repeatedly, able to crawl through attics and under houses on occasion. need to have good listening skills, able to follow precision directions.

Additional Information

This job is paying $25/hourly for the part time entry level position, trailing 30 days orientation at $20/hourly, this for the purpose of weeding out any nonsense applicants who probably already know they wont get through the first few days or week without missing work or being late or otherwise avoiding persons without a strong conviction that they are able to follow through demonstrating an ability and willingness towards being focused & conscientious in the workplace.

All applicants will be provided with a comprehensive list of requirements relative to being paid $25/hourly as a part time apprentice. The apprentice will need to demonstrate some minimal abilities such as operating power tools, i.e. cordless drills to insert screws, skill-saw to cut boards, hand tools to cut various other materials such as tin, pipe and wire, doing so within 1/16th inch accuracy and able to read a tape measure understanding fractional measurements for the cause and purpose. (nothing that a moderately intelligent and capable young adult should not be able to handle with little training), there will be ample opportunity for learning, coaching and advancing rapidly, however the entry level apprentice needs to begin working at 20/hourly expected to be no longer than 30/days orientation and training period learning the basic routines while demonstrating oneself to be reasonably capable, reasonably intelligent, mature, teachable & reliable.
