We're looking for a compassionate and dedicated Live-In Caregiver to provide comprehensive support for an adult female with disabilities. This individual thrives with consistent assistance and encouragement. This vital role focuses on ensuring person's safety, health, and overall quality of life, empowering her independence and active participation in her home and community.

Caregiver will receive FREE RENT, grocery and insurance stipends, in addition to a weekly salary.

Individual in care attends a day program Monday-Friday for 6 hours each day.

Key Responsibilities

Home Life and Supported Living

• Full Physical Assistance: Provide hands-on support with all activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal hygiene, dressing, meal preparation, medication administration, and household chores.
• Communication Engagement: Actively communicate with individual, interpreting her needs and preferences for daily tasks. You'll need to be attentive and responsive to both her expressed and unexpressed needs.
• Community Integration & Activities: Support in choosing and participating in engaging and enjoyable activities both at home and within community. This includes providing physical assistance to enable participation and recognizing her preferences for activities and engagement.

Health, Safety & Well-being

• Constant Monitoring: Provide continuous support and monitoring throughout the day to ensure safety and health.
• Seizure Monitoring: Continuously monitor for seizures, respond according to her individualized seizure protocol, provide assistance, and maintain thorough records.
• Dietary Support: Provide increased support to help Annika adhere to a healthy diet for weight management.
• Mobility & Exercise: Encourage and facilitate regular exercise and movement, including providing physical assistance for exercise routines, activities, and physical therapy.

• A genuine desire to help others and a compassionate nature.
• Ability to provide full physical assistance.
• Excellent communication and observation skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
• Reliable and responsible, with a strong commitment to safety.
• Experience with medication management, seizure monitoring, and fall prevention is a plus.
