We sell fun! We are an outdoor recreation company that focuses on all things Overlanding. We are seeking a Retail Associate with a passion for the Overlanding industry to join our team. The ideal candidate should have excellent customer service skills, a good knowledge of Overlanding equipment, including roof-top tents, camping gear, vehicle suspensions, 12v solar and battery systems, and related products. The successful candidate should have a keen interest in the Overlanding lifestyle and be able to provide expert advice to customers on the best products to suit their needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all customers
• Assist customers in finding the right products to meet their needs and budget
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment, ensuring all products are displayed appropriately and in good condition
• Keep up-to-date on the latest trends and products in the Overlanding industry and communicate these to customers
• Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently
• Ensure inventory is stocked and organized in the store
• Provide after-sales support to customers, including product exchanges and returns.
• Participate in-store promotions and events

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of retail sales experience, preferably in the Overlanding, outdoor or camping industry
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to build relationships with customers
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical information to customers
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods
• Excellent time management skills
• Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as needed
• Store Hours M-F: 8am to 6pm, Sat: 9am to 3pm, Sun: Closed. Adjusted for seasonality.
