Amber Rene Salon & Spa is seeking a part-time Receptionist to work 2-3 days a week, approximately 20 hours, with the potential for additional hours in the future. The receptionist is responsible for opening and closing the salon, answering phones, scheduling appointments, greeting clients, selling products, making decisions, and emailing guests. Light cleaning tasks are also part of the role. The receptionist should warmly welcome visitors and maintain strong interactions with employees. A leadership mindset is essential.
Additionally, the position requires knowledge of social media, including writing captions, filming videos, posting stories, and engaging with followers.
Strong leadership skills are essential. Candidates should have at least one year of experience in a sales—and customer service-oriented work environment. They must also retain product knowledge and successfully sell salon products. Excellent customer service skills and professional phone etiquette are also a must.
The ideal candidate must be able to multitask, stay organized, and prioritize work assignments effectively. Attention to detail is essential; prior experience working in a salon environment is preferred. A basic understanding of critical Microsoft Office software, including word processing and spreadsheets, is necessary. Knowledge of salon-specific software is a plus but not required.
