Uinta Cabinet is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Finisher/Painter to join our growing cabinet shop. The ideal candidate will have experience in finishing and painting wooden cabinetry, ensuring a high-quality finish that meets our rigorous standards. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent hand-eye coordination, and a strong commitment to craftsmanship.
Surface inspection: Inspect surfaces for finishing, ensuring they are free from imperfections.
Application of Finishes: Apply stains, paints, varnishes, and other finishes to wood surfaces using brushes, sprayers, and other tools.
Color Matching: Mix and match colors to achieve the desired finish, maintaining consistency across all pieces.
Quality Control: Inspect finished products for quality, making necessary adjustments to meet specifications and customer expectations.
Maintenance of Equipment: Clean and maintain all painting and finishing equipment, ensuring they are in proper working condition.
Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels of finishing supplies.
Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including carpenters and designers, to ensure seamless production flow and meet project deadlines.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in cabinet finishing and painting or a related field.
Skills:
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), and perform repetitive tasks.
Communication: Good verbal communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Relevant certifications or vocational training in painting/finishing are a plus.
