Position Overview:

We are seeking a Floor Supervisor with leadership abilities, fluent in Spanish and English, to oversee daily operations on the floor of our drapery and curtain manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have the ability to supervise staff, solve problems on the go, and ensure efficient workflow while providing a positive and productive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Foster a positive work environment, encourage teamwork, and supervise interpersonal relationships with employees effectively.
• Issue Resolution: Handle staffing concerns promptly, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
• Daily Operations Supervise: Oversee production floor activities and ensure seamless coordination between departments to meet targets and deadlines.
• Maintenance Schedule: Coordinate and schedule regular maintenance for various machines and equipment
• Employee Supervision: Monitor employee performance and ensure all safety and quality protocols are followed.
• Technology Utilization: Operate software tools including time tracking systems, spreadsheets, word processing, email, and workflow systems. 
• Industry Best Practices: Stay updated on industry trends and implement best practices to enhance productivity and service.

Qualifications:

• Language Proficiency: Fluency in Spanish and English required for the job.
• Experience: Previous experience in a supervisory floor leader role, preferably in manufacturing or a related industry.
• Skills:
• Strong interpersonal skills to maintain positive relations with staff and clients.
• Task oriented: keep employees focused on the daily production schedules.
• Excellent oral communication skills to convey information clearly.
• Proficiency with computer programs and applications relevant to production and operations 

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand and move throughout the production floor for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift 50lb or more on occasion, 20-30 lbs regularly.
