The Fab Kitting Specialist is responsible for gathering parts for the fabrication team to ensure orders are able to move efficiently through the manufacturing process while maintaining accurate inventory records. There will be basic fabrication processes involved, making this a great position for getting started in manufacturing and fabrication. This entry-level position involves working in a manufacturing plant, requiring attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to follow instructions closely. The role involves significant walking and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Essential Duties and Job Responsibilities

• Read and interpret basic order information, blueprints, and parts lists to kit correct parts.
• Make accurate inventory transactions to ensure part counts stay up to date.
• Ensure kits are prepared and ready to avoid delays in production process.
• Assist in inventory tracking, organization, and cycle counts.
• Basic cutting, polishing, and preparation of metal parts.
• Trouble shoot problems and quality errors as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
• This position is required to work onsite. 

 Education and Experience Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus but not required

Qualifications

• Operate basic Microsoft programs.
• Lift up to 40 lbs as required.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Good communication skills.
• Physical stamina to handle walking and lifting tasks.

Working Conditions

This position is required to work onsite in a manufacturing plant. It involves significant walking and physical activity, including the ability to lift and move items up to 40 lbs. Exposure to manufacturing noise and environment is expected.
