EMG is seeking a qualified individual to join our team as an Assistant Property Manager for a Downtown Salt Lake City property. The qualified candidate should have excellent customer service, organization and experience with the Section 42/LIHTC program.

The role of the Assistant Property Manager is to assist the Property Manager in all aspects and areas of the property with day-to-day functions including marketing, leasing, application processing, resident relations, and adhering to the EMG Employee Manual.

The duties include but are not limited to the following:

• Demonstrating exemplary communication, professionalism, confidentiality and leading by example
• while providing exceptional customer service.
• Adheres to and assists in enforcing Fair Housing guidelines.
• Communicates, informs, and reports to Supervisor.
• Touring, leasing, and sharing accurate information regarding the property while adhering to Fair
• Housing Guidelines.
• Attracting residents by updating advertising, advertising vacancies, obtaining referrals from current
• residents, explaining advantages of location and services.
• Explaining, reviewing, and enforcing contracts with residents.
• Maintains property by investigating and resolving resident complaints, enforcing lease, inspecting
• units, and verifying completing repairs.
• Completing and submitting timely reports as requested.
• Following up on employee tasks as assigned.
• Walking the property while monitoring and reporting curb appeal issues.

This is a full time position for people with a GREAT attitude and fantastic customer service skills. We prefer experience in Property Management but we are willing to train the right person.

Must have High School diploma or equivalent, must be able to pass background check and drug screening.
