We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced General Contractor Estimator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for construction projects, ensuring that all bids are comprehensive and align with project specifications and client requirements.

• Project Estimation: Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
• Bid Preparation: Develop and submit competitive bids for new projects, ensuring all requirements and specifications are met.
• Cost Analysis: Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documents to understand project scope and requirements.
• Vendor and Subcontractor Coordination: Obtain and review quotes from suppliers and subcontractors to ensure accurate pricing.
• Budget Management: Monitor project budgets and provide regular updates to project managers and stakeholders.
• Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
• Client Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of estimates, bids, and project costs.
• Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, material costs, and labor rates to ensure competitive and accurate estimates.
• Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure project success.

• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in construction estimating or a similar role.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Onscreen, Bluebeam, PlanSwift), Procore, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Project).
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
• Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and mathematical skills to accurately estimate project costs.
• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in preparing estimates and bids.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with clients, vendors, and team members.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve issues that may arise during the estimation process.
• Time Management: Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) or LEED accreditation are a plus.
