The right candidate will have 2 years or more bicycle mechanic experience. They will have a passion for asking questions, solving problems, finding answers, bicycles in general, a willingness to learn, and, of course, people! The right candidates must also like working in a fast-paced environment where every day is often different than the day before.

Overhaul & adjust wheel, crank, headset & pedal bearings

Replace cables and properly adjust brake and shifting systems

Install & adjust hydraulic disc brake systems

Rebuild and adjust bicycle suspension systems

Diagnose & troubleshoot problems with bicycle performance

Help customers choose appropriate products & services

Test ride bikes and evaluate operation

• Preferred 2 years experience working as a technician/mechanic in a bike shop.
• Interest in working in a team environment committed to providing excellent sales and service experience while increasing sales through service
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to maintain open and positive relations with employees and customers
• Interest in developing your mechanical skills and knowledge
• Availability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including evenings and weekends
• Ability to periodically lift 40 pounds
