We are looking for a teacher to work full time working 3 years old planning curriculum, planning centers, observe and evaluate each child’s progress, assist with snack prep and meal times,communicate effectively with professionals, parents and children,maintains a healthy and safe environment for children by sanitizing toys and classrooms daily and operating within State Licensing Guidelines, and enjoys working with children, follow state licensing regulations. Experience in a childcare center preferred.. Address is 3534 s Highland Dr in Millcreek Pay is $15-16 Hours 6:30 am-2:30/3 pm

Must be at least 18 years old

Childcare experience preferred

• Must be able to lift small children (Up to 50 lbs.)
• Must be able to move about on hands and knees and sit on the floor with children
• Must demonstrate effective communication with professionals, parents and children
• Must demonstrate an ability to work independently but show a willingness to take direction from the director
• Must be warm, energetic and enjoy working with young children (3 to 4 years old)
• Must pass a federal background check
• Must obtain a food handlers permit and first aid/CPR training

• Develop a careful and creative program suitable for preschool children
• Employ a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, media etc.) to teach children
• Observe each child to help them improve their social competencies and build self-esteem
• Encourage children to interact with each other and resolve occasional arguments
• Guide children to develop their artistic and practical capabilities through a carefully constructed curriculum (identify shapes, numbers or colors, do crafts etc.)
• Organize nap and snack hours and supervise children to ensure they are safe at all times
• Track children’s progress and report to parents
• Communicate with parents regularly to understand the children’s background and psyche
• Collaborate with other educators
• Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards
• Must be fingerprinted and BCI Cleared

High school or equivalent (Preferred)
