AAA Spring & Truck Parts is looking to fill a Full-Time Mechanic position working on a variety of vehicles including utility trailers, pickup trucks, medium duty trucks and heavy duty trucks & trailers.

Mechanics in this position primarily work to install, repair and replace suspension, brake, & steering components. You will also be trained in the repair and restoration of leaf springs.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8a-5p (except state/federal holidays)

Mechanics are responsible for installing new suspension components on heavy duty trucks (tractor/trailers, buses, construction equipment, etc.) as well as all makes and models of light duty pickups, work trucks, and utility trailers. 

Repairing and/or replacing broken leaf springs and other repairable suspension parts.

Repair and/or replacing broken steering and/or brake components.

Inspecting various vehicle models for suspension, steering and braking problems.

Various duties common to daily automotive shop operations such as equipment maintenance, cleaning, general upkeep, etc.

Maintain a strong work ethic and professional attitude.

Minimum 3 years experience working on heady duty trucks / equipment. (Class 6, 7, 8) Specific suspension training can be provided.

Must have full use of arms, legs, hands, and be able to lift 50 pounds using your own power. 

Must be familiar with heavy duty shop tools. (Tools are provided).

Pay is based on experience starting at $22/hour
