Job Description

Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Crusher Foreman to lead our crushing crew and oversee daily operations at our construction sites. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in crushing operations and a valid driver’s license. As a Crusher Foreman, you will be responsible for supervising the crew, ensuring equipment is maintained, and ensuring that production targets and safety standards are met.


Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the crusher crew, ensuring efficient operation of crushing equipment.
  • Ensure all equipment is properly set up, operated, and maintained.
  • Monitor the quality of materials being crushed and ensure they meet required specifications.
  • Enforce safety regulations, ensuring compliance with company and OSHA standards at all times.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues, coordinating repairs or adjustments when necessary.
  • Prepare and submit daily production reports and safety logs.
  • Train and mentor crew members, ensuring they are following proper operating procedures.
  • Conduct regular safety meetings and equipment checks to promote a safe work environment.
  • Maintain inventory of materials and supplies needed for crushing operations.
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, site supervisors, and other team members.


Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of experience in crusher operations or similar construction field.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Strong knowledge of crushing equipment, including jaw crushers, cone crushers, and screening equipment.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Ability to work in varying weather conditions and outdoor environments.
  • OSHA certification is a plus but not required.


Additional Information

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work in physically demanding conditions, including standing, lifting, and moving heavy objects.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Comfortable working in a noisy and dusty environment.
