As a General Laborer at JDB Slopeworx, you will play a vital role in supporting our construction projects. This position requires a versatile individual who is willing to perform a variety of tasks, learn new skills, and contribute to the overall efficiency of our job sites. You will work closely with our excavation crew, mechanics, and other team members to ensure projects are completed safely and on schedule.

• General Labor Duties: Perform a wide range of manual labor tasks as assigned, including but not limited to:
• Site cleanup and preparation.
• Material handling and movement.
• Assisting with equipment setup and breakdown.
• Performing tasks related to slope stabilization and erosion control.
• Material Transport: Transport materials and supplies from vendors to job sites, ensuring timely delivery.
• Site and Technology Learning: Learn the ins and outs of job site operations, including safety protocols, procedures, and the use of GPS technology.
• Excavation Support: Assist the excavation crew by anticipating their needs and ensuring they have the necessary materials and support to maintain efficiency.
• Mechanical Assistance: Provide mechanical insight and/or assist mechanics with equipment and vehicle maintenance and repairs, including trucks and side-by-sides.
• Equipment Operation: Demonstrate a willingness to learn how to operate various types of construction equipment.
• Physical Demands:
• Lift and carry objects weighing over 50 lbs.
• Work in outdoor environments and endure long workdays.
• Work in varying weather conditions.
