Job Description

Capital Premium Financing, Inc. has been in business for more than 30 years and is a leader in service in the premium finance loan industry. We are looking for credit analyst to join our credit analyst team of professionals to provide service as unique as a two-dollar bill. The credit analyst can expect to review a high volume of credit requests that includes reviewing and interpreting credit reports and financial statements. In addition, the credit analyst will manage insurance entities, verify policy parameters with insurance markets, and interface with our sales team. Our credit analysts are trained to understand all aspects of insurance and premium financing so they can provide the highest level of customer satisfaction.  

Responsibilities

  • Conduct advanced financial analysis to evaluate the creditworthiness of complex entities
  • Demonstrate strong analytical skills to interpret financial data and trends
  • Review collateral value and verify collateral positions
  • Assemble and review internal and external loan packages
  • Prepares cash flow analysis for new loans
  • Exhibit excellent self-management abilities to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Decision loans within lending authority
  • Work with insurance markets to verify policy parameters
  • Manage import and maintenance of insurance entities in a software based system
  • Establish connections between domestic and foreign insurance markets
  • Evaluate credit worthiness of entities where funds are issued
  • Other tasks appropriate to the job

Qualifications

  • Strong ability to read and interpret financial statements
  • Enjoys working with people and finds satisfaction in helping others
  • Personable with a good attitude
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be able to work with a wide variety of people with different personalities and backgrounds
  • Be highly organized, patient, self-motivated and able to prioritize numerous tasks with great attention to detail
  • Must be open to change and consistent growth
  • Good decision-making skills
  • Dependable and punctual
