As a Chiropractic Therapy Coordinator you'll be essential in delivering quality patient care, and facilitating efficient patient processing and flow. You'll be administering therapies, pulling charts, scheduling appointments, answering calls, reconciling insurance payments, verifying insurance coverages, managing patient recall and communications.

Your core skills in patient communication, time management, attention to detail, efficiency and accuracy will contribute to our team to make a meaningful impact on patient wellness and recovery, and facilitate the success of the practice.

Approximate Hours (we are done when all the patients are processed)

4 days a week with Tuesdays off

• 25 hours a week + monthly staff meetings on Fridays after shift
• Monday 7:35-12:00 lunch 1:45- 6:00pm
• Wednesday 7:35-12:00 lunch 1:45- 6:00pm
• Thursday 1:30pm-6:00pm
• Friday 7:35am-12:30pm
• DAYS OFF: Tuesdays, Thursday mornings until 1:30pm, Friday after 12:30

Additional Info:

• Part time employees do not accrue benefits, paid time off, or paid holidays.
• 6 days off per year when arranged ahead of time.

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour based on experience and performance.

REQUIREMENTS and TASKS

• Regular consistent attendance is our greatest priority after competency
• Must be 21 or older, physically active and fit
• Must be able to get up and down and be on your feet most of the day
• 1 year previous medical or chiropractic experience
• Intermediate to advanced computer, and internet navigation skills
• Written and verbal accuracy in the English language
• Possess excellent communication and people skills
• Will administer e-stim, roller-bed, and spinal decompression
• Will manage flow of patients to the doctor
• Chart management: pulling for next day, recall, insurance verification
• Scheduling and answering phones

QUALITIES and SKILLS:

• Commitment: We are looking for a long-term fit and commitment (2-3 years)
• Physically fit, healthy and active. This is a physically demanding position; must be able to stay active throughout the day, walking, bending, reaching, sitting to standing frequently.
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills, including navigating insurance websites to verify coverages, scheduling using Chirotouch, and typing letters.
• Have a basic understanding of insurance terms such as co-pays, co-ins, deductible, out of pocket, medical necessity, HIPPA
• Strong math skills for basic accounting and calculations
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with frequent task shifting - we call it peripheral attention.
• Must be a team player, adaptable, and collaborative, and no drama

Must live within 10-15 min of the office in South Jordan. Mon and Wed you go home for a long lunch and come back for the afternoon session. Distance can be an issue because weather and traffic can affect promptness and attendance. We aim to eliminate that posssibility.
