We are seeking an experienced and detail oriented Hardwood Floor Specialist to become an integral part of our team! The ideal candidate will have a strong background (5-10+ years preferred experience) in hardwood floor installation, repair and maintenance. Experience in finish carpentry is a plus! 

• Working closely with clients to ensure high-quality installations and customer satisfaction
• Measure, order and cut flooring to fit specific requirements
• Monitor inventory to ensure product is in stock
• Prepare surfaces for installation based on necessity (remove flooring, sanding, cleaning, leveling)
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Ensure installations are completed within agreed timelines and meet quality standards

• 5-10+ years of experience in hardwood flooring is preferred
• knowledge of various floor types, installation methods and maintenance techniques
• Ability to work with hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of craftsmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical stamina to handle long hours and heavy lifting
• Ability to build rapport with customers
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong negotiation skills
• Knowledge in other flooring types, such as engineered, laminate, vinyl and tile is a plus
