The Prepress Assistant - Plating is responsible for efficiently and safely maintaining and operating the platesetter and staging all materials required for jobs on each press.

Typical Shift: Mon - Fri, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm

• Read and accurately follow job instructions for each job.
• Assist in maintaining the platesetter.
• Assist in cleaning and performing routine maintenance on the platesetter on a regular basis.
• Maintain PMS ink inventory and identify PMS ink that must be ordered.
• Assist in maintaining coating blanket inventory.
• Update job information as materials are ready at press.
• Follow all safety policies.
• Maintain a positive attitude.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Perform other job duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Some computer skills required.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Physically capable of bending, kneeling, and standing / walking on cement floor.
