Job Description

Overview

We are seeking full-time, self-motivated remote team members to be part of our growing AZ based company. Our clients are all over the country, and the Account Manager provides customer service through phone calls, emails, and Google Meet screen-share; no travel is required. We need dependable workers who enjoy the rewards of a customer service role, project management and who are also comfortable working at a computer all day. Our company, Unitas Dental PPO Solutions helps dental practices virtually manage the insurance aspects of their business. 

Remote Work

We provide all needed computer equipment; you will need a comfortable workspace and a strong internet connection. Remote to us means that while your office is at home, when clocked in, we require that you are able to have a quiet, professional workspace, free of distractions and background noise. This also means that while clocked in, employees are not working other jobs or providing primary caregiver duties. We are only hiring employees in the following states: AZ, UT, ID, NM and TX. During training, new employees should expect to be available on camera M-F during normal business hours. After training, there is minor flexibility, but most work is done during normal business hours to meet our clients' needs.

Starting wage is $20.38/hour or $42,400 annual; 15 days PTO, PLUS paid holidays including: MLK Day, President’s Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day/day after, Christmas Eve through New Year’s Day. Employer paid medical benefits (after 60-90 days of employment) and life insurance policy.

Responsibilities

  • You will work to develop a positive business relationship with Unitas' clients through providing excellent customer service, explaining service programs, setting appropriate customer expectations, providing consistent communication and updates, overseeing account progress to ensure timelines are met, answering customer questions and addressing concerns, helping resolve customer issues, and making sure each customer understands the value of the services provided.
  • You will learn our knowledge base of dental insurance in-network participation and go over reports showing customers what impact different options can have on their business. 
  • This role is in charge of managing administrative duties for multiple client accounts and being the main point person for several accounts. Our clients are dental offices that may have one or more locations and have one or multiple providers of varying specialties.
  • After you reach a full account load, you will be assigned an assistant to work directly with to assist with completion of assigned tasks.

Required Qualifications

Applicants considered for an interview have office/computer work experience. Candidates should have effective organization skills, be able to learn/absorb new information and refer back to resource materials when needed. Ideal candidates are comfortable with Google Drive or have good computer experience and feel ok learning how to navigate new software. Much of the role is helping dental practices understand their insurance participation, so articulate, effective written and verbal communication are key in educating and explaining options. We are looking for long-term team members to grow with us and be candidates for future opportunities in leadership and development if desired. This position does not require any sales. 

Training

Thorough training and support will be provided through online courses, on camera/screens share training, and peer assistance. 

Responsibilities

Communicate professionally with clients over the phone, via email, and through structured reporting.

Manage multiple accounts with a variety of tasks.

Work well with your assistant to complete and oversee duties.

Proactively Learn our CRMs and products with training.

Commit to training to understand our business, workflows, industry knowledge, and help our clients achieve results.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrate excellent customer service skills; professional telephone and written business etiquette.
  • Learn and follow all established company workflows and processes.
  • Organized and understands how to prioritize work; manage schedule so that time is spread over all accounts.
  • Reliable, accountable, and trustworthy; maintain attendance requirements.
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills. 
  • Ability to take direction and guidance. 
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and customer service skills.
  • Excellent computer skills with the ability to navigate efficiently through required programs including multiple CRM platforms.
  • Motivated or former remote work experience.
  • Work independently/Self-manage and perform under stressful circumstances.
  • Display initiative, flexibility and receptiveness to ideas, changes, and responsibilities.
  • Work cooperatively with other employees, management and customers.
  • Ability to learn Unitas service offerings, internal processes and workflow and communicate with confidence an understanding of PPO participation.
  • Take initiative to expand knowledge base.
  • Post-secondary education is preferred but not required.
