Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Deck Builder with a strong background in residential construction. The ideal candidate will have experience building custom decks using various materials such as wood, composite, and PVC, and will be comfortable working independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities:
• Construct new decks according to project blueprints and specifications
• Measure, cut, and assemble framing, railing, and decking materials
• Interpret and follow design plans and local building codes
• Operate power tools and other equipment safely and effectively
• Ensure quality workmanship and site cleanliness
• Communicate with clients, project managers, and crew members

Qualifications:
• 3+ years of proven experience as a deck builder or carpenter
• Strong knowledge of deck framing, code requirements, and building practices
• Proficiency with tools, materials, and construction techniques
• Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety and quality
• Physical ability to lift, carry, and perform manual labor outdoors in varying weather conditions

Preferred:
• Experience with composite decking systems (e.g., Trex, TimberTech)
• Basic knowledge of permitting and inspection processes
• OSHA certification or other relevant safety training
