Job Description

Flare Construction is hiring CDL Truck Drivers at multiple levels (I–III) depending on experience. This position supports High-pressure and IHP natural gas lines, regulator stations, anomaly digs, and gas system maintenance projects as well as other duties as needed. Drivers are responsible for safely transporting tools, equipment, and materials to and from job sites using light and heavy-duty vehicles and trailers.


Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • ·       Transport tools, equipment, and construction materials to and from job sites.
  • ·       Inspect, lubricate, and fuel assigned vehicles prior to shift start.
  • ·       Perform routine maintenance and report any vehicle or equipment issues.
  • ·       Operate vehicles in compliance with DOT regulations and company safety policies.
  • ·       Load, unload, and secure materials and equipment properly.
  • ·       Work weekends, nights, or travel out of town as required.
  • ·       Participate in daily safety meetings and follow all job site safety protocols.
  • ·       Support project mobilization/demobilization efforts as needed.
  • ·       Be on-site and prepared at the beginning of each assigned shift.
  • ·       Maintain driver logs and other required documentation per DOT and company policy.


Qualifications

Qualifications by Level:

  • Level I: 1,000+ hours of experience, basic CDL operation
  • Level II: 3,000+ hours, trailer towing proficiency, OSHA 10 required
  • Level III: 6,000+ hours, advanced hauling, endorsements may be required (Doubles, Triples, Hazmat, Tanker)

Requirements:

  • Class A CDL and valid DOT medical card
  • Willingness to travel and work in outdoor job site conditions
  • Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening

Education and Certifications

  • ·       High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • ·       Vocational school training or apprenticeship preferred.

Physical, Travel, and Other Requirements

  • ·       Prolonged operation of Light/Heavy vehicles.
  • ·       Operate vehicles in all weather conditions and terrain.
  • ·       Lift and carry up to 80 lbs; push/pull up to 50 lbs.
  • ·       Work outdoors with exposure to noise, dust, and varied environmental conditions.
  • ·       Physical strength, coordination, and stamina required for field conditions.
