B Logic Construction Is Hiring for a Sales/Estimating position. This is a full-time, in-office position in Centerville, UT, with potential for some remote work after 90 days. B ∙ Logic Construction is seeking a Steel Building Sales/Estimator who can both estimate and sell pre-engineered steel building projects via Nucor and Metallic Building Systems estimating software. This person must be able to interpret plans and specifications, generate bids, and build and maintain client relationships from first contact through signed contracts. This position requires working knowledge of both Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace applications. You’ll be responsible for qualifying leads, preparing accurate takeoffs, negotiating pricing with vendors, and managing customer expectations.

• Analyze drawings and specifications for metal building systems.
• Prepare material and erection estimates using estimating software and vendor tools.
• Solicit, evaluate, and negotiate pricing from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Maintain CRM records of bid activity and client communication.
• Provide technical assistance to clients and team members pre-bid and post-sale.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineering, and vendors to ensure cost and scope alignment.
• Attend site visits and pre-bid meetings when required.
• Follow up with clients and maintain ongoing relationships to generate repeat business.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience estimating steel buildings or other construction related estimating (preferred).
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and estimating principles.
• Proven experience in construction sales, estimating, or project development.
• Proficiency in estimating software (Planswift, Excel, or equivalent) and strong computer literacy.
• Ability to read architectural and structural plans and construction Specifications with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills—written and verbal.
• Able to work independently and as a team, stay organized, and manage deadlines.
• High school diploma required. Bachelor’s in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.Minimum 2 years of experience estimating steel buildings or structural steel (preferred).
