HVAC Technician

Job Title: Certified HVAC Technician & Handyman

Location: Multiple Properties (Salt Lake City, UT and surrounding areas, Moroni, Milburn, Price)

Pay: $80-$85K annually

Job Type: Full-Time

Expected Hours: 50 hours per week

About the Role:

Sapa Investment Group is seeking a skilled, reliable, and certified HVAC Technician who can

also perform general handyman work across multiple properties. The ideal candidate will be

experienced in maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing HVAC systems (residential/light

commercial), while also being capable of performing minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and

general maintenance tasks.

Install, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems (residential/light commercial)

Perform routine HVAC maintenance and seasonal servicing

Repair appliances and equipment as needed

Read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical documentation

Identify and report major repair needs

Ensure safety and building code compliance

Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas

Deliver exceptional customer service to tenants and internal team

EPA Section 608 Certification (Required)

NATE Certification (Preferred)

HVAC Excellence Certification (Optional but a plus)

Valid HVAC License (if required in Utah)

Valid Driver’s License with clean record

Minimum 3-5 years of HVAC experience

Minimum 2 years of handyman/general maintenance experience

Ability to lift 50 lbs and work on ladders and in confined spaces

Strong understanding of refrigeration cycles, pressure/temperature metrics, and

pipe/duct systems

Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills

Comfortable working both independently and in a team environment

Basic math and computer skills Schedule:

Full-time: Tuesday through Saturday

8-hour shifts

Some weekends and occasional after-hours tasks may be required

Physical Demands:

Frequent lifting 50 lbs

Occasional climbing, balancing, crouching, frequent kneeling, and reaching

Exposure to varied weather conditions and noise levels
