Kent Construction is a custom home builder, based out of Park City, building in Summit and Wasatch County. Our carpenters are a critical part of our team and help us deliver world-class experiences for our clients. This position works directly with our site supervisors and project managers, helping with miscellaneous carpentry tasks, material handling, supervision of subcontractors, and anything else needed to keep work flowing smoothly. This is a position that has room for a lot of growth for the right candidate.  

• Work directly with site superintendents to keep all work flowing on site. 
• Basic construction tasks such as framing, drywall, and finish carpentry. 
• Assist in managing subcontractors.  
• Help with scheduling material deliveries.  
• Oversee all work to ensure it is completed to the highest standards.  
• Ensure jobsites are kept clean and organized.  
• Proactively anticipate issues and have a positive approach to solving problems.  

• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations for custom homes. 
• Reliable transportation to and from remote jobsites in Park City and surrounding areas. 
• Basic computer skills and experience with Buildertrend a plus. 
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents. 
• Ability to work as a member of a team and interact with many types of personalities to get the best out of everyone involved. 

• 3+ years of construction experience, preferably in custom residential construction. 
• Education related to Construction Management, Engineering or related fields a plus.
