Job Description

We are seeking a seasonal Customer Support & Sales Representative (CSSR) to join our team at Hormiga Landscapes. This role will be active for the Summer and Fall of 2025, with the possibility of conversion to a regular full-time employee at the close of the Fall season. As a CSSR, your role will be crucial in generating new work and providing a great initial customer service experience. Additionally, you may be asked to take on a more standard Customer Service role when the need arises.

Responsibilities

  • Client Sales: Generate leads, converting leads to clients, and ensuring a great initial customer service experience. 
  • Marketing: Make sales calls, create & send promotional materials via email, SMS, and social media, and track the success of various marketing campaigns and initiatives. 
  • New Client Onboarding: Accurately enter lead & new client information into our system and ensure they receive necessary service details. 
  • Customer Service: Answer incoming calls & messages promptly. Addressing client inquiries, providing information about our landscaping services, and assisting with any other questions or concerns. 
  • System Data Entry & Record Keeping: Perform regular data entry tasks and note taking, ensuring that all lead & client information, requests, and service records are noted accurately and kept up-to-date in the system. 

Qualifications

  • Communication: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal 
  • Reliability: Candidate must commit to being on time consistently and present on all scheduled days 
  • Multitasking: Handle various customer service requests and projects simultaneously 
  • Flexibility: The ability to quickly learn and adapt to a changing work environment. 
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills 
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook 
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent 

Qualifications that will set you apart:

  • A degree in marketing from an accredited educational institution strongly preferred 
  • A proven track record in sales and/or a marketing portfolio strongly preferred 
  • Bilingual (Understanding and/or speaking Spanish & English) candidates strongly preferred 
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft excel preferred 
  • Previous experience working in a customer service or call center role preferred 
  • Previous experience working in a small business office environment preferred
