Position Summary:

The Heavy Truck Parts Counter Representative is responsible for assisting customers—both in-person and over the phone—with selecting, ordering, and purchasing parts for heavy-duty m-f no weekends

Greet and assist customers at the parts counter and over the phone.

• Identify correct parts using catalogs, diagrams, and inventory systems.

• Process parts orders, returns, and exchanges efficiently and accurately.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of heavy-duty truck parts and accessories.

• Communicate with service department technicians to fulfill internal parts needs.

• Monitor inventory levels and assist in stock ordering, receiving, and organizing.

• Create and maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and transactions.

• Handle customer complaints or concerns with professionalism and a solution-oriented approach.

• Collaborate with vendors and manufacturers to source hard-to-find parts.

• Maintain a clean and organized parts department.

• High school diploma or equivalent (required); technical or trade school education a plus.

• 1–3 years of experience in heavy truck or automotive parts sales preferred.

• Strong knowledge of heavy-duty truck makes, models, and parts systems (e.g., Freightliner, Peterbilt, Kenworth).

• Proficiency with inventory and parts lookup software.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a warehouse/shop environment.

• Detail-oriented with good organizational and time management abilities.
