Part-Time Marketing Assistant – Crystals, Minerals & Jewelry

Location: On-site in Alpine, Utah
Hours: Part-time (10–15 hrs/week, with flexibility and room to grow)
Compensation: Based on experience

Wandering Stones is a unique crystal and jewelry store serving both seasoned mineral collectors as well as customers drawn to the beauty, symbolism, and energy of natural stones. We’re seeking a Part-Time Marketing Assistant to help share our collection and in-store experience with a broader audience through engaging and consistent digital marketing.

What You'll Do:

• Plan and create original content in our showroom for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and other platforms, including reels, short-form videos, and photo posts.
• Write and schedule email and SMS campaigns to promote new arrivals, events, and store updates.
• Engage with our local and online community through comments, DMs, and replies.
• Support marketing for seasonal sales, events, and new product launches.
• Design & send marketing emails via platforms like Klaviyo or Mailchimp.
• Craft and send text campaigns that feel personal and relevant using SMS tools.
• Assist with product photography and merchandising for content creation.

What You Bring:

• Proven experience managing social media for a business or brand.
• Strong communication and writing skills, especially for social media and email content.
• A working knowledge of minerals, crystals, and rocks—or a strong curiosity and willingness to learn fast.
• Comfort with platforms like Canva, Meta Business Suite, and email/SMS marketing tools.
• Organized, self-motivated, and able to create on-site content independently or with guidance.

Nice to Have:

• Experience in retail, e-commerce, or content creation for artisan or niche businesses.
• Interest in both the scientific and cultural appeal of fine minerals and crystals.
• Photography or video editing skills.
