City Glass is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to assist with managing our day-to-day financial records. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of bookkeeping principles, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently. Experience in the construction industry is highly preferred. As our Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations, providing vital information for business decisions.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and job costing.
Process invoices, payments, and receipts.
Prepare and process payroll, including certified payroll as needed.
Track project costs and prepare job costing reports.
Assist with the preparation of monthly and annual financial reports.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Proven experience as a bookkeeper, preferably within the construction industry.
Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles.
Proficiency in QuickBooks.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
