We are seeking a detail-oriented and dynamic Event Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing various events while ensuring exceptional guest experiences. This role requires strong organizational skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and vendors. The Event Coordinator will play a key role in managing event logistics, budgets, and catering services to create memorable occasions.

Duties

  • Plan and execute events from conception to completion, ensuring all details are managed efficiently.
  • Communicate with clients to understand their event goals and requirements.
  • Coordinate with vendors, including catering services, decorators, and audiovisual teams.
  • Manage event budgets, ensuring all expenses are tracked and kept within limits.
  • Upsell additional services or products to enhance the guest experience.
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors and venues to secure the best rates and services.
  • Oversee on-site event operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly during the event.
  • Provide exceptional guest services before, during, and after events to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with restaurant or hotel staff to ensure seamless service delivery.

Experience

  • Previous experience in event planning or coordination is preferred.
  • Background in hospitality or restaurant management is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
  • Experience in budgeting and financial management related to event planning.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
