The Excavation Operator/Labor will be responsible for operating heavy equipment (such as mini excavators, backhoes, and skid steers), performing general labor duties, and assisting with site preparation, grading, trenching, and backfilling for residential construction projects.

• Operate excavation equipment safely and efficiently on residential job sites
• Excavate foundations, footing, and utility trenches per sit plans and elevations
• Perform site grading, backfilling, and final prep for construction
• Assist with layout, measurements, and interpreting plans as needed
• Conduct routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized job site
• Assist with other general labor duties

• Prior experience operating excavation equipment (mini ex, skid steer, backhoe, etc.)
• Understanding of residential excavation processes and basic site grading
• Ability to read site plans and follow layout instructions
• Physically able to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus but not required)
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to learn
