Restaurant Service Solutions is seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Refrigeration/HVAC Technician to join our dedicated team. If you have a passion for providing top-notch service and are looking for a full-time position with room to grow, we encourage you to apply.

Job Responsibilities

As part of our team, you will be responsible for:

·      Maintaining, servicing, and installing equipment such as:

·      Ice machines

·      Walk-in coolers and freezers

·      Chillers

·      Make-up air units

·      HVAC equipment

·      Hot and cold restaurant equipment

The position includes participation in a rotating on-call schedule, ensuring continuous service to our clients. A company vehicle and cell phone will be provided.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

·      Minimum of 2+ years of experience in Commercial Refrigeration/HVAC (preferred)

·      EPA Certification

·      RMGA Certification

·      Ability to read wiring schematics

·      Valid driver’s license

·      Insurable driving record

·      Must be in good physical condition, able to lift and move objects under and exceeding 50 lbs.

·      Must pass a background check to work at airports or Federal entities

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, service, and repair refrigeration and air conditioning equipment
• Work with a variety of hand tools, torches, welders, gauges and meters.

·      Evacuate, charge and starting systems.

·      Perform periodic maintenance and cleaning of equipment.

·      Familiar with control software and wiring of refrigeration controls.

• Demonstrate efficient and effective problem-solving skills
• Attend periodic manufacturer training classes
• Participate in safety training and adhere to all safety policies and procedures
• Ability to handle physical workload of at least 50 LBS
• Must have a can-do, "I'll figure it out" attitude

·      Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills

·      Maintain a positive relationship with customers, vendors and co-workers.

·      Maintain organization of vehicle and company tools

·      Complete required paperwork in a timely manner
