HELP NEEDED: Senior Dog Auntie/Uncle

Are you a kind-hearted, dependable person with a genuine love for animals? Fluffs and Friends, a senior dog rescue, is looking for a mature and extremely reliable individual to help care for our beloved senior and special-needs dogs.

Position Type: Volunteer
Hours: Part-time (hours will vary). We mostly need help when we have to leave town.
Compensation: Modest hourly pay – this is a labor of love more than a paycheck

Who We’re Looking For:
• A gentle soul who truly loves dogs.
• Someone who shows up on time, every time – our seniors depend on consistent care.
• A calm, patient person – many of our dogs come from neglect or trauma and need time to feel safe.
• Experience with dogs is wonderful, but not required – we’ll teach you everything you need to know to provide excellent care.

What You’ll Be Doing:
• Feeding, administering medications, and possible baths if needed.
• Cleaning up after them and maintaining a peaceful, safe environment.
• Providing potty breaks, playtime, and lots of loves.
• Monitoring for health or behavioral changes.

This position is perfect for someone who finds purpose in caring for animals in their golden years and wants to make a real difference. We currently have 33 dogs in our care!
