We are seeking 2 individuals who are compassionate and dedicated in providing care as a Supportive Living Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential assistance and support to individuals with disabilities, helping them achieve greater independence within a residential setting. Your responsibilities will include offering personal care services, coaching on daily living skills, and fostering a supportive environment for residents to thrive.
Deliver direct care to individuals with mental health and developmental disabilities, including personal hygiene and medication management. Assist residents with daily activities such as meal planning and preparation, household chores, and personal hygiene routines. Coach residents in developing and maintaining independent living skills, including budgeting, shopping, and household management. Foster a respectful, supportive, and encouraging atmosphere to promote growth and independence.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Experience is preferred but not required. The ideal candidate is compassionate, patient, and respectful, capable of working both independently and as part of a supportive team environment. Must pass a background check.
The position involves working weekends and evenings, approximately 20 hours per week. We value a flexible schedule and offer a casual dress code to create a comfortable working environment.
