The Irrigation Sprinkler Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing irrigation sprinkler systems for residential customers. This role ensures that irrigation systems operate efficiently to support healthy landscapes and conserve water through proper design, troubleshooting, and seasonal servicing. We can provide a company truck and all the tools and equipment necessary. Located in Riverton and the majority of our jobs are in the Riverton/Herriman/South Jordan/ Bluffdale area but we service all of Salt Lake County. We will have other landscaping projects going as well and may need help on those from time to time. We typically operate from March-November.
Inspect and diagnose issues with existing irrigation systems (e.g., leaks, clogged heads, electrical faults)
Repair irrigation systems including piping, valves, timers/controllers, backflow-preventers, sprinkler heads, and drip lines
Repair or replace defective parts, such as broken sprinkler heads, valves, and controllers
Adjust sprinkler heads and timers for optimal coverage and water conservation
Perform seasonal services including start-ups, winterization/blowouts
Communicate with customers about system performance, recommended repairs, and water-saving tips
Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and service reports
1+ years of experience in irrigation system installation or service
Understanding of irrigation systems, components, and water flow principles
Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical components of sprinkler systems
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Strong customer service and communication skills
