BurlyBag is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented soft goods expert or seamstress to help bring our innovative outdoor sleeping system to life. This role involves working closely with the founder to prototype a high-performance sleeping bag tailored for big and tall individuals, combining cutting-edge materials like drop-stitch pads, insulation layers, and rugged nylon exteriors. You’ll be responsible for translating design concepts into physical samples, creating and adjusting patterns, sewing complex components, and helping us prepare a final pattern and tech pack for manufacturing. Precision, creativity, and technical sewing skills are essential.

This is a flexible, remote-friendly, part-time role ideal for someone who is a self-starter, loves problem-solving, and communicates clearly. You’ll play a critical role in turning our concept into a production-ready product, with input on everything from construction techniques to material selection. Experience with outdoor gear, insulated products, or technical sewing is a strong plus.
