Job Title: Retail Furniture Delivery Driver

Schedule: Monday – Saturday (Full-time, with rotating day off or overtime as needed)

Reports To: Store Manager / Delivery Manager

Position Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Retail Furniture Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe delivery and installation of furniture into customers’ homes, unloading merchandise from trucks, and performing general warehouse and store support duties—including furniture assembly and showroom setup.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely deliver furniture to residential homes and businesses in a timely and professional manner.
• Carry and maneuver heavy furniture items in and out of delivery vehicles and customer homes.
• Assemble furniture and place it according to customer specifications.
• Unload merchandise from inbound delivery trucks (including semis).
• Assist in furniture assembly for the showroom floor and help maintain a clean and organized backroom/warehouse area.
• Provide excellent customer service during all delivery interactions.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of delivery vehicles.
• Perform miscellaneous store and warehouse duties as assigned.
• Clean driving record.

Requirements:

• Must be able to lift and carry heavy furniture (up to 100 lbs) with team assistance.
• Valid driver’s license (CDL not required, but a plus).
• Clean driving record.
• Previous experience in furniture delivery, moving, or warehouse work preferred.
• Ability to work a Monday through Saturday schedule with flexibility for overtime.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Able to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Must be dependable, punctual, and professional in appearance and conduct.

Physical Demands:

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and heavy lifting.
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions during deliveries.
