Job Description


Overview 

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Lot Technician to join our team at Alpine Overland. The Lot Technician will play a critical role in ensuring our vehicles are in top condition, ready for sale, and meet our high standards of quality and presentation. This position involves installing accessories, detailing cars, and performing various tasks to support dealership operations. 

Responsibilities

Responsibilities 

  • Vehicle Detailing: Clean, wash, wax, and polish vehicles, both interior and exterior, to maintain a pristine appearance for display and delivery. Vacuum interiors, clean windows, and remove any dirt, debris, or stains.  
  • Accessory Installation: Install aftermarket accessories such as roof racks, tents, lights, tonneau covers, steps, and other add-ons as requested by customers or management, ensuring proper fitment and functionality. 
  • Vehicle Preparation: Inspect vehicles for any damage or issues, perform minor touch-ups, and ensure all cars on the lot are ready for sale or test drives. 
  • Lot Organization: Arrange vehicles on the lot for optimal display, move cars as needed for deliveries, test drives, or service, and maintain a clean and organized lot environment. 
  • Support Dealership Operations: Assist with miscellaneous tasks as needed, including transporting vehicles, running errands, supporting the service department, and helping with inventory management. 
  • Safety and Compliance: Follow all safety protocols during accessory installation, detailing, and vehicle handling, and adhere to dealership policies and procedures. 


Qualifications

Qualifications 

  • Experience: Prior experience in automotive detailing, accessory installation, or a related field is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided. 
  • Skills
  • Basic knowledge of automotive tools and equipment for accessory installation. 
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results. 
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills. 
  • Willingness to jump on any task assigned with a positive attitude. 
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions on the lot. 
  • License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. 
  • Availability: Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and additional hours as needed to support dealership operations.
