You will be working under the supervision of the Utah Association of American Baptist Churches USA in the beautiful Ogden Valley, 90 minutes north of Salt Lake City, in the foothills of the Wasatch Mountains that were home to the 2002 Winter Olympics and will host the 2034 Winter Olympics. You’ll have access to hiking trails, Nordic skiing, and snowshoeing.

You’ll live in a modern manager’s house provided by the association and maintain 40 acres of camp facilities and operations year-round. The facilities can accommodate up to 80 guests in heated cabins, making it a year-round destination for spiritual and community gatherings.

  • Spiritual Guidance: Uphold and promote the camp's core Christian values of hospitality, renewal, and wholeness in all interactions and programs.

Qualifications

Applicants will undergo a background check and must be able to obtain and maintain a current Food Manager ServSafe certification in the state of Utah.

  • Experience: Background in camp management, hospitality, ministry, or related fields with a hands-on approach to leadership.
  • Skills: Versatility in handling various tasks, from administrative duties to meal preparation to facility maintenance.
  • Faith Alignment: A personal commitment to humble Christian values. Comfortable working with a diversity of faith communities and traditions, Christian and non-Christian. Passionate about the ministry of hospitality.
  • Community Engagement: Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with staff, campers, and the broader community.
