Our Commercial Loan Officer interviews business members and prospects seeking commercial loans. Collects and analyzes financial and related data to determine general creditworthiness. Structures loan terms and conditions that meet the member's needs and the Credit Union's lending guidelines.
Assist members with commercial loan applications, analyzing business needs and finding the right product to fit the need. Establish terms and conditions of an approved loan and review them with the member. Order title work, appraisal, environmental reports, and pull credit. Prepare and/or review all loan documents for completeness and accuracy.
Take application for commercial loan business. Review member financial condition and assess member’s ability to re-pay the loan. Provide risk analysis of Jordan Credit Union business loans. Present loans to loan committee.
Monitor existing loan portfolio to maintain a high-quality asset base. Facilitate collection efforts on business loans, this may consist of doing site visits along with their annual review.
Facilitate and complete draws on commercial construction loans.
Participate in marketing Jordan Credit Union to local businesses. Call on members to expand existing business and call on prospects seeking opportunities to expand the credit union’s member base.
Establish relationships with other credit unions, brokers, and realtors to attract new business and participation loans.

A minimum of two years of commercial lending experience, including loan origination. Deep understanding of credit analysis, risk assessment, and financial statements. Strong ability to cultivate relationships with business members to effectively identify their lending needs. Knowledge of relevant regulations and lending policies. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in Excel and Word. Must be 18 years or older.
Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm with a half day off each week.
