We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented cleaner to prepare and maintain short-term rental properties between guest stays. The ideal candidate will ensure that properties are spotless, well-stocked, and guest-ready on a tight turnaround schedule.
We have 15 listings, primarily located in the Millcreek and Cottonwood Heights area, so we prefer cleaners within a 15-minute drive from those locations. Our turnovers begin at 10:00 a.m. and typically last for about 3-4 hours each day. Most days, you will have 2 or 3 turnovers, which require you to drive between locations, so please do not apply without reliable transportation. We pay mileage between locations. We provide the cleaning supplies.
Thoroughly clean and sanitize all rooms (bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, living areas)
Change bed linens and make beds
Replenish essential supplies (toiletries, paper products, etc.)
Wash and put away used dishes
Take out the trash and recycling
Check for damages or missing items and report to the property manager
Perform final walk-throughs to ensure the property is guest-ready
Follow checklists and cleaning protocols specific to each property
Prior cleaning experience, preferably in short-term rentals or hospitality
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Reliable transportation and a smartphone for communication
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
Must be punctual and able to meet tight turnover deadlines (typically 10 AM–3 PM)
Ability to lift to 25 lbs and perform physical tasks (bending, standing, etc.)
