The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is regularly required to lift up to 25 pounds and on occasion up to 50 pounds. Climbing. Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles and the like, using feet and legs and/or hands and arms. Stooping. Bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist. Kneeling. Bending legs at knee to come to a rest on knee or knees. Standing. Particularly for sustained periods of time. Lifting. WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Generally, Parts Managers work a standard 40-hour week. To satisfy customer service needs, some parts departments offer evening and weekend service. Generally, Parts Managers work indoors in well-ventilated and -lighted repair shops. However, some shops are drafty and noisy. The worker may be subject to atmospheric conditions. One or more of the following conditions that affect the respiratory system of the skin: fumes, odors, dust, mists, gases, or poor ventilation.
