Location:

Salt Lake City Metro Area, Utah

Field-based with some remote work. Vehicles will be transported to our headquarters in Boise, Idaho.

We’ve already operated successfully in the Utah market and are now expanding with a dedicated, full-time Buying Leader in the Salt Lake City area. This is your chance to establish our local presence with strong systems, support, and infrastructure already in place—and eventually help grow into a larger team.

What You’ll Do

Lead Private Party Acquisitions in Utah

  • Be the face of Maverick in Salt Lake City and surrounding areas.
  • Reach out to vehicle sellers through inbound and outbound channels (online marketplaces, referrals, direct inquiries).
  • Appraise vehicles accurately and transparently, educating sellers about market value and how Maverick works.
  • Build rapport and trust to create comfortable, repeat-worthy experiences.
  • Coordinate logistics for inspections, paperwork, and vehicle transport to our Boise headquarters using our established shipping processes.

Lay the Groundwork for Growth

  • Focus first on building strong buying volume as an individual contributor.
  • Develop and execute strategies to grow private-party acquisitions across the Utah market.
  • Collaborate closely with our experienced Boise buying team to ensure smooth handoffs and excellent service.
  • Once the foundation is established (typically in 3–6 months), help plan and support the hiring and onboarding of additional local buying team members.

Training & Ongoing Support

  • Start with hands-on, in-person training in the field alongside our Boise leadership team.
  • Receive ongoing coaching and collaboration with Boise teammates, including weekly or bi-weekly visits to stay connected and supported.

  • Organized and comfortable using CRMs, mobile tools, and scheduling apps.
