Job Summary 

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Roofing Superintendent to oversee the day-to-day operations of roofing projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing roofing crews, ensuring project timelines and budgets are met, and maintaining high-quality standards. As a Roofing Superintendent, you will serve as the primary point of contact between the field, project management, and clients, ensuring that all safety, quality, and operational requirements are adhered to. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  

• Supervise Roofing Projects: Manage and oversee roofing projects from start to finish, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency at every stage.  
• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and supervise roofing crews, ensuring they are trained, organized, and motivated to meet performance standards and deadlines. 
• Scheduling and Coordination: Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring that all roofing tasks are completed on time and within scope. Coordinate with other contractors, suppliers, and project management teams as necessary.  
• Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections of roofing work to ensure compliance with company standards, building codes, and manufacturer guidelines. Ensure all work meets or exceeds quality expectations.  
• Safety Compliance: Enforce safety policies and procedures on-site, ensuring that all team members are properly equipped and following OSHA standards. Address any safety hazards or incidents immediately.  
• Materials and Equipment Management: Oversee the procurement, delivery, and inventory of roofing materials and equipment. Ensure all materials meet project specifications and are used efficiently.  
• Project Documentation: Maintain accurate records of daily operations, including work progress, workforce attendance, safety compliance, and material usage. Submit reports as required to project managers and clients.  
• Client Communication: Maintain positive relationships with clients, providing updates on project status, addressing concerns, and ensuring their expectations are met.  
• Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot any on-site issues, delays, or conflicts, and propose practical solutions to keep projects on track.  
• Budget Management: Work closely with the project management team to ensure projects stay within budget and adjust as necessary to address any unforeseen costs.  

Qualifications/Skills:  

• Strong knowledge of roofing systems, materials, and installation processes. Familiarity with local building codes and safety regulations.  
• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to manage and motivate a team of workers, ensuring productivity and quality standards are maintained.  
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with crew members, clients, and project managers.   
• Communication Skills: Bi-Lingual speaks Spanish (Required)  
• Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting and decision-making abilities to address challenges as they arise on the job site.  
• Physical Requirements: Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including the ability to lift heavy materials, work at heights, and withstand various weather conditions.  
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.  
• Proficiency in using construction management software or tools. 

Education and/or Experience:  

• Minimum of [5] years of experience in roofing, with at least [2] years in a supervisory or leadership role.  
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications or training in roofing, construction, or project management preferred. 
• OSHA certification, First Aid/CPR certification, or other relevant credentials are preferred. Preferred Skills:  Experience with various types of roofing systems (e.g. Metal, TPO, EPDM, modified bitumen, shingle, etc.)
