Job Description

We’re searching for an experienced and dynamic Service Director to lead our Service Departments to Success. In this role, you’ll oversee service operations, drive customer satisfaction, and lead a team of Managers, technicians and advisors to deliver world-class service experiences. Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a high-performing service team, including managers, technicians, and advisors
  • Drive service profitability and efficiency while maintaining high CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index)
  • Oversee scheduling, workflow, parts coordination, and technician productivity
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, warranty, and quality standards
  • Monitor and manage departmental budgets, forecast performance, and report KPIs
  • Implement process improvements and maintain operational excellence
  • Collaborate with Parts and Sales departments to ensure customer needs are met seamlessly
  • Recruit, mentor, and retain top talent in service roles


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of service management experience in a dealership or high-volume shop
  • Proven leadership and team development skills
  • Strong knowledge of automotive systems, manufacturer processes, and service software
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Ability to balance customer focus with performance goals
  • CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, Tekion, or other DMS experience a plus
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
