Position Summary

Renegade Underground LLC is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Superintendent with a strong background in Traffic Signal, ITS, Highway Lighting construction for UDOT (Utah Department of Transportation) and City Municipality  projects. The Superintendent will be responsible for on-site leadership, coordination, and supervision of crews and subcontractors to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Responsibilities

·        • Lead and supervise Traffic Signal, ITS and Highway Lighting projects across Utah.

·        • Manage installation of Traffic Signals, Fiber Optics, CCTV, DMS, Radar Systems, etc.

·        • Ensure compliance with UDOT standards, MUTCD, and all project specifications.

·        • Oversee subcontractors, field personnel, equipment, and materials.

·        • Maintain daily reports, redlines, safety documentation, and QA/QC records.

·        • Conduct progress meetings and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

·        • Resolve field issues proactively and prevent project delays.

Qualifications

·        • 5+ years(preferred) in Traffic Signal/ITS/ Highway Lighting Field Supervision (UDOT experience preferred).

·        • Knowledge of UDOT specifications and Traffic Signal/ITS Highway Lighting systems.

·        • OSHA 30 certification/ IMSA/ATSSA preferred.

·        • Proficiency with Bluebeam, MS Office, and reporting software. preferred

·        • Valid driver’s license required (CDL preferred); ability to travel.
