This is a full time salaried position with bonuses and benefits. The employee is required to live on site in a two bedroom apartment. Small pets are allowed, NO SMOKING. Work out of your apartment. As the Resident Manger your duties will include, but are not limited to the following:
• Marketing, Sales and Leasing: Placing advertisements and signs, showing apartments, taking applications and leasing apartments.
• Administration: Rent collections and accounting. Maintenance of files on site. Initiating and approving routine expenditures, inventory controls, supervision and direction of on-site staff.
• Public Relations and Customer Service: Maintaining positive relations with residents, responding to inquires and complaints, enforcing property policies and rules.
• Maintenance Operations: Taking work orders, assigning work and supervising on-site maintenance staff. Daily inspections of the property, as well as scheduling and insuring that all turn-overs are completed in accordance with the owner’s standards. Supervision of a swimming pool. As Resident Manager, the applicant will be actively involved in management of all day-to-day operations of the property.
One year of property management experience or equivalent. Must be organized and results oriented, with the ability to communicate and work well with others. Flexible and willing to work evenings and weekends. Reliable transportation and a cell phone required. Applicants will be working with Word, Excel, Outlook, Publisher, and Appfolio property management software. A high school diploma is required. A college education and professional credentials are preferred. Spanish speaking also preferred. The employer will train as needed.
Compensation: A two bedroom apartment (valued at $1,450 /mo.) and salaried compensation ($1,450 to $1,650 / mo.) based on experience. Performance bonuses available. Benefits include: Health Insurance program, paid holidays, sick leave, educational scholarships and professional development opportunities. Reimbursement for gasoline, utilities, and cell phone use. The property is non-smoking and does allow one small pet.
