CDL Class A Required; Wages: $24.00 - $27.00 DOE. Paid health insurance.

This is a full time position reporting to the Operations Manager. The purpose of this position is to transport debris off of job sites in a timely manner and support job site operators in order to meet demolition project deadlines.

- Check the truck to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order.

- Maintain logs of working hours and of vehicle service and repair status, following applicable state and federal regulations.

- Drive trucks with GVWR of 80,000 lbs., including tractor-trailer combinations, to transport construction/demolition debris and other related materials from job sites to landfills.

- Maneuver trucks into loading positions following signals from the job site operator. Ensuring the safe dumping of debris at landfills and other unloading locations.

- Cover loads of debris for transport, using tarps and bungees.

- Other duties as needed.

Skills and Abilities:

- Basic mechanical skills

- Ability to understand and follow oral instructions in English.

- Time management skills

- Class A CDL required

- Good MVR required.

Working Conditions:

- Regularly works in outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat and humidity, and exposure to dust and asphalt.

- The position requires frequent sitting in trucks with moderate standing, lifting, and bending.

- Must be able to lift 25 lbs.

- Requires good manual dexterity (hand, hand with arm, two hands) and multi-limb coordination.

- Noise level is generally moderate to loud.
