We are a volumetric concrete company looking for a Yard Assistant to support our operations by assisting the head mechanic with maintenance, performing yard duties, and ensuring equipment is clean and functional. This role is essential in keeping our team running efficiently.  

Starting at $22 per hour - eligible for increase after 60 days!

Pay will be dependent on level of experience.

Ideal working dates would be April to November - great for those who are employed in seasonal winter work.

• Wash trucks and equipment to maintain cleanliness and functionality. 
• Operate a buggy to support yard and job site operations. 
• Run errands as needed to support drivers and mechanics. 
• Assist the head mechanic as needed with maintenance tasks and repairs. 
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance. 
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment to minimize downtime. 
• Tackle general repairs and yard maintenance tasks as needed.  

• A get-it-done attitude—you are not afraid to roll up your sleeves and dive into the work. 
• A well-rounded skill set in general maintenance and repairs. 
• Ability to operate equipment such as buggies and basic yard machinery. 
• Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability in a dynamic environment. 
• No concrete experience required – we will teach you all you need to know! 

Safety, customer service, can-do attitude, mechanical aptitude and experience with concrete are the top qualities we are looking for.
